god I can’t believe anyone besides me remembers Ordinary People (fandom secret I love Donald Sutherland’s performance in Ordinary People it’s one of my all time favorite acting roles)
Full disclosure: I have not seen Ordinary People, but am very familiar with it as a movie-object for all the trivia stuff attached to it (Best Picture ‘81, Redford’s directorial debut, Mary Tyler Moore’s only Oscar nod).
